Who operates this site
GaltCreditLoans.com is an independent information resource. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by Galt Credit LLC or Galt Financial Solutions LLC.
Information collected
Information you provide. If you complete the application form, you supply personal and financial details including your name, contact details, address, date of birth, Social Security number, employment and income information and bank account details. That form is operated by a third-party application provider and the information you enter is transmitted to a licensed lender or lending network for underwriting.
Information collected automatically. Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and time of visit.
This site does not use localStorage or sessionStorage, and it does not store the contents of the application form on its own servers.
How information is used
Application information is used to connect you with a lender or lending network that may be able to offer you a loan, and by that lender to verify your identity, income and banking history and to decide whether to lend. Automatically collected data is used to operate and improve the site.
Sharing
Application information is shared with the lender or lending network that receives your application, and with service providers that operate the form and the site. It may also be disclosed where required by law or legal process. This site does not sell personal information.
Once your information reaches a lender, that lender’s own privacy policy governs what it does with it. Read it. Under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act you are entitled to a privacy notice from any financial institution you do business with, and in many cases to opt out of certain kinds of sharing.
Credit inquiries
Submitting an application may result in a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. A lender may later carry out further verification. Any hard inquiry, if one is ever made, requires your authorisation and will be disclosed to you first.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are used for basic site functionality and aggregate analytics. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; some parts of the site may not work normally if you do. This site does not respond to Do Not Track signals in a standardised way, as no common standard exists.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information held about you, and to opt out of certain sharing. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know what is collected and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — noting that Galt Credit does not lend in California. To exercise any right, contact this site using the details on the about page; to exercise rights against a lender that received your application, contact that lender directly.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect information from children. You must be at least 18 to apply.
Security
The application form is transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and no site can promise absolute security.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The review date at the top shows when it last changed.
